Sankt Veit

Also called �Sankt Veit An Der Glan, � town, K�rnten Bundesland (federal state), southern Austria. It lies along the Glan River north of Klagenfurt. Sankt Veit was the capital of the duchy of K�rnten (Carinthia) until 1518. Its town hall dates from 1468 and its old ducal castle from the 15th to 16th century.
