A porcelain crown looks exactly like a tooth.

A Porcelain crown is a dental restoration otherwise known as a "cap" which is a cover that fits over teeth. A porcelain crown may be necessary because of broken down old fillings, fractured, chipped or sensitive teeth. A porcelain crown can also be used to improve the appearance of natural teeth that are malformed, malpositioned or discolored.

Porcelain crowns as the name suggests is made of natural looking porcelain to improve your overall smile or to blend in with your own teeth. Sometimes an underlying metal shell is used under the porcelain if additional strength is needed.

A porcelain crown looks exactly like a tooth. If done by an expert cosmetic dentist, it will be very difficult for people to tell that it isn't real.
